The Gift of Christmas Empowerment Foundation (TGOCEF).
We believe Christmas should be a season of dignity, love, and hope not struggle. That’s why we go beyond giving food.
Each year, we deliver large Christmas food and provision hampers to families in need, ensuring they can celebrate with joy and fullness.
But we don’t stop there.
We also provide business start-up grants, helping families build sustainable income so they can create better Christmases for themselves in the years ahead.
Founded in Akwa Ibom, Nigeria in 2023, we started with just 10 families.
Now, we are on a mission to double our impact every year, with a bold vision of reaching 100,000+ families in the coming years.
Our Mission
At The Gift of Christmas Empowerment Foundation, we exist to:
• Spread joy, dignity, and hope during the Christmas season
• Provide food hampers to families who would otherwise go without a Christmas meal
• Expand our reach every year to support more families
• Partner with local businesses and generous donors
• Raise awareness about food insecurity during the festive season
• Build a culture of kindness, compassion, and community
